Alaska Cruise pt 3 of . . .

Some of the following pictures from my cruise to Alaska may have appeared in previous blog entries in another form.  The following are basically self explanitory.  I may add some comments to them anyway.

As the ship was pulling out, I heard music, but from afar.  I then remember the referral to Hempfest on the radio earlier that day.  I scanned the shoreline and located the source of the music and decided THAT must be Hempfest.  Funny thing, my Auntie M, who was along on the cruise, happened to visit her son a year ago on the same week as Hempfest.  She has a tradition beginning.

I enjoy shooting things, framing them through other objects. Loo appreciates these type of photos, I believe.

Yes, actual name of Glacier.

shot from helipad

Moo and Squirell rode tram, Autie M and I remained behind.

Cruise 2 of ???

Entertainment for me.  I had heard from the family about how the room stewards would do folded towel art  for them, which they no longer do.  They are hard workers, so I really did not expect it.  I enjoyed the turn-down service.  I also noticed that he hung up my jeans when I left them on my bed.  I bought five moose, four of them for my little kiddos that I watch.  I left out four of the moose on my bed one morning to see what Ramon would do with them.  The top is what he did.  I would leave the moose on the night stand and they would end up on the bed.  He told me one night that he liked arranging the moose.  It was something to look forward to.

Alaska Cruise 2012 pt 1 of ???

Just returned from a lovely week on a cruise to beautiful Alaska.  The weather actually cooperated for the most part.  I thought I would post a couple of pics for those that check this post, which is mostly family of the Great kind.  These will not be order. . . just because that is how I roll.
The Captain of the ship opened the helicopter pad when we went up the Tracy Arm Fjord.  I know no one in this pic.

The South Sawyer Glacier calving.

Iceberg.  Most icebergs from the South Sawyer Glacier calve under water,  thus scraping along the bottom and picking up rock and debris.

Obligatory Great photo of family taking pics of other family members taking a photo.

Salmon swimming upstream near Menndenhal Glacier near Juneau.

This is for Da. . . a little remembrance of our trip across country.  I really wasn't going to go on the trail.  It was closed because of bear activity.  Too bad I saw zero bears that day.

Waterfall by Mendenhall Glacier. No time to walk over by it.  Our bus driver gave us one hour here.  Would have been better to catch the blue bus over.

One of several photos with the painted pics.  Love this one.

This is a picture of the tram to the top of the mountain.  Moo and Squirrel went to the top.

My pics

Sisu at 4 months

Following pics were done over memorial day weekend down Hillsboro/Portland area. Most were at the International Test Rose Garden. . . or maybe the National. . . well, whatever, they were lovely roses and a loverly family. . .

Miss A wanted a pic of them jumping down the stairs, so here is ONE of that series.
Miss A did not want to cooperate, she wanted to be hanging upside down on one of the railings.  I ended up changing positions to get her in the photo a little better.

Here is where I moved up the stairs to get Miss A in the photo a little better.
Love this photo of Cynthia and miss Em

THIS is the family photo that miss A wanted to do.  Oh so cute!
A group of Japanese tourists walked by right about now and commented "oh, what cute family." Then Miss A snuggled up to her daddy to show how cute she could be.

Master J's face just cracks me up.

Back in Hillsboro.  My dogs are super cute. . . well in my opinion that is.  And that is all that counts.

The following are from this year's tulip festival.  I don't know anyone in any of the photos, if people do appear in the photos.  I they represented what you generally see at the fields.
